Samsung Galaxy S Flip Case and Sock Pouch

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

My Samsung Galaxy S is my pride and joy, I keep it safe like a little baby. This can be done with different accessories and I’ve found one option that’s a bit unusual and one that’s more classical and standard.

The unusual and colorful option is a set of 6 different socks (unused I hope) that can protect the Galaxy S. The way they work is simple, pull the sock over your Galaxy S and it’s protected. If you get bored of one color, you swith to another. The socks are washable, very practical.

If you find yourself on your way home from the pub one night and suddenly realise that you’ve lost one of your shoes and sock, just pull out one of these bad boys and put them on, can’t beat how versatile they are.

Not looking for all those colors? Go for a leather flip case instead, calssy and practical. The exterior is as you’ve realised leather, and it wotn scratch or tear easily. The interior is soft and protective. The case is easily closed and opened with a magnetic tab. All buttons, ports and features are available while the case is used. This case makes your Galaxy S look good.

Samsung Galaxy S Covers

I got this wonder of a cell phone at home and you probably want to protect yours as much as I want to protect mine. That’s why I’ll present two great options when it comes to Samsung Galaxy S covers.

Let’s begin with a slim fitted low bulk silicone skin cover. These are great since they add scratch protection and shock absorbance. The grip also improves with a silicone cover, something that will save your cell from a few visits with the tarmac. All buttons and features are available when the cover is on. This is a cover that slips right on and gives instant protection, get it today.

A more traditional kind of cover is the leather cover. This specific cover is a top opened slip in cover that allows for great protection. High quality leather exterior that wont scratch or tear. The nifty pop up cord gives you quick access to the cell when needed. The design is slim and timeless. Quality never goes out of style so make sure you get one of these.

Samsung Galaxy S Accessories

Let’s get some more Samsung Galaxy S accessories out there. I’ve found a pretty spaced out cover, a very classical cover and a twin-pack of capacitive stylus for us with sausage fingers.

The cover is from Tuff-luv and their Apocalypse range (meaning the Apocalypse will begin unless you use it). It’s made from animal friendly leather imitation and they’ve put a Celtish(?) cross on it. I think it looks good and definately unique, you wotn see too many others using it I think.

The interior is made of soft velvet and is guaranteed scratch free. The pull-tab allows for quick access to the phone when it’s in the case. Just pull it and the phone is easily accessible again. This is typuically a cover that you use when carrying your cell phone in a bag, or having it along in your car (atleast that’s how I would use it).

Since we have a spaced out cover, we also need a classical one in order to keep some balance in the world. Below we have a black leather case from Cellapod (delivered for free in the UK by the way).

There are no surprises with this case, as expected with a classical one, but that’s not a bad thing if this is what you’re looking for. The case is high quality and very functional. It protects and at the same time allows for quick access to the cell phone using the pull strap. A magnetic closing flap keeps the cell phone in place when it should be in place, no more empty cases.

The last piece of accessory for today is a twin-pack capacitive stylus from Modern-Tech. These are great if you for some reason plan to write alot on your cell phone. It might be that you’re travelling and need to answer emails or something like that. Using your fingers for alot of typing might get frustrating (if you have large fingers), then these are great.

No need to sharpen your fingers, just use these.

Zagg Invisible Shield (Full Body) for Samsung Galaxy S

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

So you’ve bought yourself a sparkling new Samsung cell phone? I bet you want to keep it new and sparkling for as long as possible? Luckily there are alot of Samsung phone accessories out there and Samsung phone covers represent some of those accessories.

I myself chose the Zagg Invisible Shield for protection. I did so purely because a friend of mine recommended it, otherwise I might have tried another case or cover, since there are alot to choose from. I must say that I like the Zagg shield, mostly because it adds very little extra bulk and it seems to be very durable. The image below might give you an idea of what it looks like.

Zagg Invisible Shield for Samsung Galaxy S

The application was (for me) hassle free and smooth, but I can see how it could easily turn into a mess with fingerprints on the inside of the cover and airbubbles that wont remove themselves. The shield comes with a spray on liquid for the shield and hands that will work to prevent staining, but it’s not perfect, so be careful. I focused on getting the screen side as good as possible, since that’s the side I constantly look at. The backside was a bit more of a pain and I had to leave some bubbles. The good thing is that those bubbles “removed themselves” after a few days or so. Now I have a perfectly applied shield that will protect my Samsung Galaxy S for a long time.

The really good thing is that the shield leaves no sticky residue if you want to remove it. It just peels right off, no problem. You can get the Zagg Invisible Shield for Samsung Galaxy S from Amazon:
